Creative Programs

Art Workshops

Our art workshops offer a Painting Program with artistic mentors who provide painting instruction. We display our paintings in museums, schools, Veteran Administration Centers, hospitals, VA nursing homes, and during community events and festivals.

Music Workshops

We offer worship singing and instrument instruction for Veteran and youth groups to encourage them to use their gifts of music. During the year we put together programs for musicians to perform praise music or other songs during community events, at schools, churches, VA nursing homes, and other venues.

Gardening Workshops

We offer gardening workshops and social activities for Veterans and youth groups to connect with the community. For more information about our community gardening actvities, please email us at Christ1stministry@protonmail.com.

Dance Workshops

We provide a peer environment with professional dancers to provide dance instruction. We offer a dance with a hero program and perform during community events and at VA senior living facilities to promote being active, healthy living and wellness.

Writing Workshops

Our writers focus on positive material for poetry, songs, stories, and stage plays to encourage healing through writing. Many of our material is about Christ and the healing power of art and amazing stories of transformation.
